The "X-axis rack and pinion stage" features a rack and pinion drive system and adopts an anti-backlash guide for excellent coarse adjustment over long strokes on the X-axis stage. The stage surface is machined with M16 taps, allowing for direct attachment of pole stands and other accessories.
